THE ACCUSED FUGITIVE IN AL-SANADRA CASETRIAL

The court session of the accused fugitive was held on 17thFebruary 2020 at Khartoum North court before Justice/ Osama Hassan. The Judge adjourned court to 1st March 2020. The court session/trial of Mr. Abduelraheem Abdelgadir Salah Mohammed (the defendant) who had earlier escaped was held at Khartoum North court before Justice/ Osama Hassan on 16thFebruary 2020 but the Judge adjourned it to the following day (17thFebruary 2020) because police could not present the defendant before the court. On 17th February 2020 court session was conducted in the presence of all parties. Initially, Al[1]Sanadra’s Sheikh/ Mayor was the person delegated by the families of the deceased (killed people) to express their opinion to court. But, the Judge discovered that in the procuration/ authorization letter of one of the deceased’s (Mr.Gasim Ahmed Algamrey) family, one of his children was now of age (adult). That his mother had earlier delegated on his behalf because he was underage. But now that he is of age, he should either represent himself or choose to delegate afresh. The Judge/Justice adjourned court to 1st March 2020 to allow the concerned individual (deceased’s son) to complete the required process of authorization.
