On 13th June 2021, a group of PDF soldiers attacked farmers at their farms in Sabori. As a result, one farmer was shot dead and other two were injured. A case was reported at Kadogli police but police delayed to visit the crime scene. By the time police came, the dead body had already been taken away by unknown people. On 13th June 2021, while Sabori farmers were cultivating at their farms, a group of armed people dressed in PDF uniform attacked and shot bullets at them. As a result Mr. Daheeya Abdalla Hamdan was killed and two others (Mr. Bahloul Elmac Kouri and Mr. Rashid Hussein Jumma) were injured. Those who survived including the injured managed to escape from the scene. After a short while, the farmers came back and attempted to take the dead body but, the assailants shot at them again. Farmers took the injured people to Kadogli for medical care and reported the case at the police office in Kadogli. They informed police about their failure to collect the dead body but the police did not respond immediately. After two days (16th June 2021), the police visited the crime scene only to find that the dead body was taken. They only found blood marks/ stains. HUDO is very concerned about the security situation and the safety of civilians in conflict areas and calls upon;

· Sudan government to ensure that the safety of civilians in conflict areas is guaranteed
· Sudan government to conduct rule of law responsibly.
· Sudan government to dissolve government militias and disarm people with unlicensed firearms.
