COURT TRIAL OF AL SANADRA CASE – Update (14)
<p><b>HUDO Centre <br> 5th March 2018 <br> Update (14) <br> COURT TRIAL OF AL-SANADRA CASE</b> <br> The court session was held on 28th February 2018 at Khartoum North court before Justice/ Abdeen Hamid Dhahi. Apart from the prosecutor, all parties were present. The next court session is scheduled for 7th March 2018. <br> <b>Summary of the court session </b><br> The session started by 11:00 AM (Sudan local time) and the judge continued with questioning the defendants. <br> The summary below is the defendants’ response: <br> <b><i>The 6th Defendant: Bardab Mohammed Abakar</i></b> <br> · I’m a resident of Almowaileh North Al-Abbasiya town. <br> · I’m a member (Mujahid) of PDF and I was armed with a personal weapon (AK-47 gun). <br> · On Friday 2 nd September 2016, I was at my house with other people up to midday. <br> · I do not have a motorbike and I was not among Al-Sanadra’s attackers. <br> · I do not know and never saw witnesses; Hassan Alzaibaq and Mohamed Elfaki, the only person that I know in Al-Sanadra is the Sheikh/ Mayor Babikir. <br> <br> <b><i>The 7th Defendant: Osman Mohammed Osman</i></b> <br> · I’m a resident of Al-Mowaileh North Al-Abbasiya town. <br> · I’m a member of PDF, I was not armed and I do not have a motorbike. <br> · I was not among those who attacked Al-Sanadra and I do not even know where Al-Sanadra is. <br> · On Friday 2nd Sept. 2016, I was at Bardab’s house with other people. <br> · I know defendants; Bardab Mohammed, Ahmed Al-Tayeb , Alhadi Abdelrahman, Ahmed Abdelgadir, Alzaki Saleh Alzaki, Hamid Almanzol, Abakar Fadelmowla, Saleh Ibrahim, Mohmmed Nasreldin, Ahmed Jazim and Al-sadiq Mohammed <br> · I do not know witnesses Hassan Alzaibaq and Mohamed Elfaki <br> <br> <b><i>The 8th Defendant: Alhadi Abdelrahman Ibrahim Almahdi </i></b><br> · I’m a resident of Al-Abbasiya town. <br> · I’m a member (Mujahid) of PDF and I was armed with AK 47 gun. My nickname is Lekaileek.<br> · On Friday 2nd Sep. 2016, I was at my home with other people. <br> · I know two of the defendants Ahmed Jazim and Alzaki Saleh but I never went with them to Hassan’s house (the accusing witness) and I never shot him with three bullets. <br> · I do not know witness Hassan Alzaibaq and had never seen him before. <br> <br> <b><i>The 9th Defendant: Ahmed Abdelgadir Salah Mohammed</i></b> <br> · I’m a resident of Al-Masan North Al-Abbasiya town. <br> · I’m a member (Mujahid) of PDF and I was armed with AK-47 gun. <br> · On Friday 2nd Sept 2016, I was at my home with two other people since morning up to 01:00 PM and I was not among the attackers of Al-Sanadra. <br> · I know four of the defendants; Hamid Almanzol, Abakar Fadelmowla, Mohmmed Nasreldin and Saleh <br> · I do not know witness Nourein Adam Mohammed; I had just seen him at the court. <br> <br> <b><i>The 10th Defendant: Alzaki Saleh Alzaki Mohammed </i></b><br> · I’m a resident of Al-Abbasiya town. <br> · I’m a member of PDF, I was armed with AK-47 and my gun is here with court. I do not have a motorbike. <br> · On Friday 2nd Sept 2016, I was at my neighbor’s house with other people up to Jummah (lunch time) prayers and I was not among Al-Sanadra’s attackers. <br> · I do not know witness Abdelraheem Adam, Elshareif Ahmed, Hassan Alzaibaq or Yousif Adam. I had never seen them before. <br> · I did not shoot four bullets to Abdelraheem Adam, I do not know that Elshareif Ahmed was a member of PDF and I did not shoot Mohammed Abdalla (the deceased). The 11th Defendant: Hamid Almanzol Ahmed <br> · I’m a resident of Al-Abbasiya town. <br> · I’m a member of PDF and I was armed with AK 47 gun which is here with this court. <br> · On Friday 2nd Sept 2016, I was invited to the locality meeting by the State MP where I met Ommda Altahir Mansour, Abakar Fadelmowla and others. I was not among Al-Sanadra’s attackers. <br> · I do not know witness Emam Abdalla or Adam Senada Ahmed Alaati but I know Ahmed Adam in person and Aljailey Adam by his face. <br> · I knew the late/ Abdalla Suliman, he did not talk to me but, I heard about his death later.
