Research

HUDO has undertaken a joint research with University of Khartoum to translate the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) into native Sudanese languages to improve sensitization of the locals to their rights. The research program began on 12th January 2022 and has since produced audio and text translations for 5 different native languages including Lumun, Masallet, Moro, Fur and Uduk. We aim to achieve our goal of 72 native language translations by 2025.

Native Sudanese can access the translated UDHR in our app "Hudo Centre" available on both Google Play Store and App Store.
