RSF SOLDIERS ROBBED TRAVELLERS NEAR KOLOGI
<p><b>HUDO Centre No.: H.K/PS/12/022 <br> 6th March 2022 <br> PRESS STATEMENT <br> RSF SOLDIERS ROBBED TRAVELLERS NEAR KOLOGI, SUDAN</b> <br> On 23rd February 2022, three (3) armed RSF soldiers robbed travelers on gun point near Kologi. The case was reported at Kologi police but, there was no response. On 23rdFebruary 2022, thee (3) armed men dressed in Rapid Support Force (RSF) uniform obstructed a vehicle travelling from Talodi to Kologi with four (4) passengers. They robbed them of their smart phones and money on gun point and thereafter, they left them to continue with their journey. This was at a point near Bajoun gold mine of Kologi. The travelers reported this case to police after reaching at Kologi town but police did not respond. HUDO Centre managed to get only two names of people in the vehicle. Their names are; Ms. Bakheita Zakaria (about 26 years old) and the driver Mr. Mohammed Osman (about 30 years). Bajoun goldmine is located about 20 km South Kologi/ the capital of Gadeir Locality in South Kordufan State.
