PDF KILLED AND INJURED SEVEN FARMERS

<p><b>HUDO Centre No.: H.K/PS/40/021 <br> 26th June2021 <br>                                                                                                            PRESS STATEMENT <br>                                                             PDF KILLED AND INJURED SEVEN FARMERS IN JULUD, SUDAN</b> <br> On 26th May 2021, for unknown reason, armed PDF soldiers killed four farmers and injured other three near Julud. On 26 thMay 2021, for unknown reason a group of armed people dressed in Popular Defense Force (PDF) uniform shot and killed four (4) farmers and injured other three. The farmers were shot while they were coming back to their village Julud from farms/ gardens. The killed farmers are: Regaieg Saeed Mandu (42 years old), Areef Elias Areef (44 years old), Jumaa Zakaria Eljak (40 years old) and Ramadan Nasr Eldood (48 years). The injured farmers are: Abu-Zaid Gebrail (34 years old), Zakaria Sawag Jumaa (40 years) and Elsheikh Mohammed (38 years old). No case was filed (reported) because Julud is located within the SPLA territory. Julud is a village 45 km southwest Dilling town of Nuba Mountains/ South Kordufan State. It is within Sudan People Liberation Army – North (SPLA-N) controlled territory near the government controlled areas.
