Armed robbery on Elfakis house in Kadogli

<p><b>No. H.K/PS/20/021 <br> 22nd march 2021 <br>                                                                                                             PRESS STATEMENT <br>                                         ARMED ROBBERY ON A HOME NEIGHBOURING POLICE OFFICE IN KADOGLI, SUDAN</b> <br> On 11th March 2021, four armed people with masks broke into the house of Mr. Abduelkareim Elfaki in Kadogli and robbed him at gun point. The case was reported at police western office. This police office is located near (close) to the victim’s house but there was no action taken. On 11thMarch 2021 after midnight, while Mr. Abduelkareim Elfaki Moumen sleeping alone at his house, four armed people with masks broke into his house at Kadogli town and woke him up. The attackers tied him with ropes at gun point and took the following; money (12000 SDG = 35 USD), twelve (12) pairs of bed sheets, Television, smart phone and fan. Thereafter, they disappeared. Mr. Elfaki reported the case at the western police office but, no serious investigation measures taken by police. Mr. Abduelkareim Elfaki Moumen (46 years) is a businessman. Abduelkareim’s house is located at El ban-Jadeid western part of Kadogli town and the house is nearby to police office of the mentioned part in the town. Kadogli is the capital city of South Kordufan State/Nuba Mountains. HUDO is very concerned about the situation of civilians in conflict areas and calls upon; <br> · Sudan government to urgently investigate and hold to account police in SK for not executing their duties. <br> · Sudan government to urgently solve the issue of insecurity in South Kordufan/ Nuba Mountains. <br> · Sudan government to ensure the safety and security of people in conflict areas. <br> · Sudan government to dissolve militias and disarm people with unlicensed firearms. <br> <br> End: For more information please write to hudo2009@gmail.com<o:p></o:p></p>
