Killing of a farmer in El Rahmania
<p><b>HUDO Centre No.: H.K/PS/17/021 <br> 8th March 2021 <br> PRESS STATEMENT <br> FARMER MURDERED BY UNKNOWN PEOPLE IN EL RAHMANIA, SUDAN</b> <br> On 4th March 2021, Mr. Ahmed Eldouma was shot dead by unknown people near El Rahmania. This case was filed against anonymous at El Rahmania police post but there is no further investigation. On 4 thMarch 2021, Mr. Ahmed Eldouma together with his brother Mr. Hassan Eldouma were at Um<!--[if !supportFootnotes]-->[1]<!--[endif]-->Lubia forest near their village of El Rahmania harvesting honey. Suddenly, unknown people shot at them, as a result, Mr. Ahmed who was shot in the chest died instantly. His brother (Hassan) survived and fled to the village. Mr. Hassan with some relatives and the general public took the dead body of Ahmed back to their village where he was buried and case was filed/ reported at El Rahmania police post but, no further investigation was done. The victim Mr. Ahmed Eldouma (47 years old) is known by nickname Jedo and he is a farmer (honey collector). El Rahmania is a village in Abu-Jibaiha locality of Nuba Mountains/ South Kordufan State. Its location is about 25 km West of Abu-Jibaiha town.
