Injuring of a woman in house armed robbery in Kadogli

<p><b>No. H.K/PS/11/021 <br> 18th February 2021 <br>                                                                                                             PRESS STATEMENT <br>                                   WOMAN SHOT AND INJURED BY ARMED ROBBERS AT HER HOME IN KADOGLI, SUDAN</b> <br>On 12th February 2021, Ms. Haja Elfateh was shot and injured by armed people at her house in Kadogli town. The assailants also took away one smart phone and money. The case was filed at police office against anonymous but there was no further investigations done. On 12th February 2021 after midnight, armed people dressed in civilian clothes broke into the house of Mr. Khaleifa Abaker in Hajar Almac neighbourhood. The assailants pointed guns at Mr. Khaleifa and his wife and robbed them smart phone and unspecified amount of money. The assailants later escaped after shooting a bullet and injuring the wife (Haja Elfateh) on her right arm. Mr. Kaliefa rushed his wife to Kadogli hospital and reported the case at Kadogli police against anonymous. But the police did not carry out further investigations up to today. Mr. Khaleifa Abakar Mohammed Abbas (27 years old) is trader and his wife Ms. Haja Elfateh (24 years old) is a housewife. Kadogli is the capital city of Nuba Mountains/ South Kordufan State.
