TWO MURDER INCIDENTS IN ABU KERSHOLA SUDAN

<p><b>HUDO Centre No.: H.K/PS/31/020 <br> 4th August 2020 <br>                                                                                                             PRESS STATEMENT <br>                                                                         TWO MURDER INCIDENTS IN ABU-KERSHOLA, SUDAN</b> <br> In two subsequent days (26^th and 27^th July 2020), two men were killed in Abu-Kershola by unknown people and for unknown reasons. All cases were reported at Abu-Kershola police against anonymous. On 26thJuly 2020 evening hours, a policeman by names of Mr.Badawi Eltahir Badawi (26 years old) was killed by unknown people near Muaaz Ibn Gabal Basic School at Abu-Kershola town. His dead body was taken to Au-Kershola health centre by community members. At the health centre, it was discovered that his body (the head in particular) was hit by sharp objects on his head. The dead body was later taken by relatives/ family for burial. The family/ relatives reported the murder case at Abu<!--[if !supportFootnotes]-->[1]<!--[endif]-->Kershola police against anonymous. On 27th July 2020, a farmer named Mr. Mustafa Mohammed (27 years old) was found dead at his garden by his neighbours. They took his dead body to Abu-Kershola health centre. According to the health centre, he died because his skull was fractured by two hit on his head with sharp objects/tools. His body was later taken for burial by his family/ relatives and they reported the case at Abu-Kershola police against anonymous. Abu-Kershola is the capital of Abu-Kershola locality in Nuba Mountains/ South Kordufan State. Muaaz Ibn Gabal Basic School is located at the centre of the town near Abu-Kershola market.
