ASSASSINATION OF ISMAIL IN KADOGLI SUDAN

<p><b>HUDO Centre No.: H.K/PS/09/020 <br> 18th March 2020 <br>                                                                              PRESS STATEMENT (For immediate release) <br>                                                                          ASSASSINATION OF ISMAIL IN KADOGLI, SUDAN</b> <br> On 15th March 2020, Mr. Ismail Edriss Adam was shot dead by two men wearing masks in Kadogli for unknown reason. The case was reported at Kadogli police office against anonymous. On15th March 2020 evening hours, Mr. Ismail Edriss had just arrived (returned) at his home. When he was alighting from his car, two masked men called him by name and he responded. Immediately one of the masked men shot him on the chest and they run away. The neighbours and Mr. Ismail’s family came to the scene only to find him in a pool of blood. They rushed to take him to the hospital but he died before arriving. A case was filed/ reported at Kadogli police office against anonymous and the police visited the incident/ crime scene. No further investigations or arrests have been done yet. Mr. Ismail Edriss Adam was 54 years old and the general manager of Islamic Dawaa organization in Kadogli. Kadogli is the capital town of South Kordufan State/ Nuba Mountains.
