<p><b>No.: H.K/PS/08/023 <br>24th February 2022</b><br> <b> PRESS STATEMENT</b><br> <b> PASSENGERS ROBBED BY ARMED PEOPLE AT ALHAMRAA, SUDAN</b><br> On 29th November 2022, two (2) armed and masked men robbed passengers at Alhamraa. The<br> passengers were travelling on a commercial vehicle from Hajar-Elfoul to Kadogli. The robbery<br> case was reported at Kadogli police but, police did not respond.<br> On 29th November 2022, four passengers were travelling on a commercial vehicle from Hajar-Elfoul<br> market to Kadogli town. Two armed men putting masks on their faces obstructed them and robbed<br> them of their money under gun point. One of the passengers (a trader) by name Mr. Elderderi<br> Mohammed Abbaker was robbed five million Sudanese pounds (around $9000 USD).<br> The victims reported the incident to Kadogli police by then but police did not take any step to investigate<br> up to date.<br> Alhamraa is a village about 20 km south Kadogli town on the way to Hajar-Elfoul market.
