SAF RSF soldiers robbed passengers

<p><b>HUDO Centre No.: H.K/PS/45/022 <br> 5th September2022 <br>                                                                                                             PRESS STATEMENT <br>                                                      SAF AND RSF SOLDIERS ROBBED PASSENGERS NEAR ABU-JIBAIHA, SUDAN</b> <br> On 26th August 2022, armed soldiers dressed in SAF and RSF uniform injured and robbed passengers of their money and smart phones at Elsaif hill. The passengers reported the case to Abu-Jibaiha police but, police did not take action. On 26th August 2022, armed soldiers dressed in Sudan Armed Force (SAF) uniform and Rapid Support Force (RSF) robbed and injured passengers. The soldiers obstructed a vehicle which was travelling from Kologi to Abu-Jibaiha. They shot bullets at this moving vehicle at Elsaif hill and as a result, one passenger was injured. They robbed passengers of their smart phones and money before disappearing within the jungle. The name of the injured passenger is Mr. Adam Osman Adam Beilu (30 years old). The driver together with the victims (passengers) continued their journey to Abu-Jibaiha where the injured person received medical treatment at Abu-Jibaiha hospital. They also reported the robbery case at Abu-Jibaiha police but, police did not respond. Elsaif Hill is about 20 km southwest of Abu-Jibaiha town/ the capital of Abu-Jibaiha locality in South Kordufan State/ Nuba Mountains.
