RSF invaded Abu Jibaiha crop market

<p><b>HUDO Centre No.: H.K/PS/19/022 <br> 24th March 2022 <br>                                                                                                             PRESS STATEMENT <br>                                                           RSF INVADED THE CROP STOCK MARKET IN ABU-JIBAIHA, SUDAN</b> <br> On 20th March 2022, eight (8) armed RSF soldiers invaded the crop stock market in Abu<!--[if !supportFootnotes]-->[1]<!--[endif]-->Jibaiha, shot and injured one person, robbed traders and drivers. The case was reported at Abu-Jibaiha police but, there was no response. On 20th March 2022 around 01:00 AM (Sudan time), eight (8) armed men dressed in Rapid Support Force (RSF) uniform invaded the crop stock market in Abu-Jibaiha, intimidated the traders and truck drivers who were sleeping in the market. They shot one person by names of Mr. Yousif Mohammed Yousif (55 years old) on his leg. They also robbed people of their money and smart phones. The injured person was taken to Abu-Jibaiha hospital by fellow victims at the market. The case was reported at Abu-Jibaiha police but police did not respond. A community leader in Abu-Jibaiha informed HUDO Centre that, since January when RSF was deployed in Abu-Jibaiha town, there has been insecurity in form of looting and night robberies. Abu-Jibaiha town is the capital of Abu-Jibaiha locality in Nuba Mountains/ South Kordufan State.
